While browsing the WordPress website you may get blank page. There might be multiple reasons behind this blank page we would recommend you to go through the steps below to fix the issue.
Step 1: Change PHP Version.
If you have performed any recent theme or plugin updates you should change the PHP version of your website, in order to check if this will have any effect on your pages. This can be done through cPanel -> MultiPHP Manager under software.
Step 2: Modify PHP Variables:
Depending on your WordPress setup your website might require higher PHP server resources. You can increase the value of memory limit and enable output buffering at your host in order to verify if this was causing the issue.
Step 3: Disable all plugins:
You can deactivate your website plugins via FTP or File Manager. Navigate to the WordPress plugins folder on your hosting account using the path /wp-content/plugins.
Then you can rename the plugin, so you can deactivate your plugins temporary. After that you can test your website.
If the website starts working correctly this means that one or more of your plugins are causing the issue.
After the problematic plugin is found check whether it is compatible with your version of WordPress. If you plan to use it contact the plugin's developers and report the issue.
Step 4: Replace your website theme:
You can change your website theme to a default one like twentyeighteen in order to check if your theme is causing the blank page issue. You can simply access your cPanel, go to phpMyAdmin and navigate to your WordPress database on the left side. Select the wp_options table and update the following values:
template and stylesheet to twentyeighteen
You can again browse your website and verify if the issue is resolved.
